Born in Iran, Atena earned a degree in photography from Soore university, one of the most prestigious Art universities in Iran and has received additional training and study at the Paris College of Art in Paris, France. She also has received a diploma in commercial photography from Dawson College in Montreal. She has been based in a wedding photographer for over two decades covering more than 1000 weddings.
Atena is also a member of Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC), the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA), Master Wedding Photographers of North America and the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers since 2010 (ISPWP). Earlier in her life, she freelanced for some famous wedding photography companies and soon after established her own studio named Tiara Studio.
